A celebration day for Skebo's youngest tenants

It was full of laughter, popcorn, and magic tricks when Skebo invited families to the new office on Södra Järnvägsgatan. Over 100 registered tenants came to join the event - and the atmosphere was great right from the start.

Peppe from Peppes Tivoli kept the fun going all day with his classic carnival games. Children got to try hitting with a mallet, throwing cones, balancing balls, and most importantly, learning their own magic tricks as Peppe entertained in the middle of the crowd. Face painting and crafts corner, led by customer service manager Sara Lundberg, quickly became favorites. And yes - popcorn, pancakes, jam, and cream were consumed rapidly.

This day was especially for Skebo's younger tenants - a chance to let them stand in the spotlight and feel that they are also part of the community.

"It's important for the children to see that we're here for them too. They are just as much tenants as everyone else, and we wanted to give them a day that was just theirs," said Sandra Hägg, project manager.

Each child took home a surprise bag filled with balloon animals, candy, Squishmallows, and small toys. But before it was time to go home, many were lining up - of course, to order one last balloon animal from Peppe.

The family day is also linked to Skebo's 60th anniversary celebration. Throughout the year, we have had area days in different locations, but since they were held during the day, we wanted to find an occasion where even the youngest could participate.

"We had so many lovely conversations during the day. Many told us how well they feel and how happy they were that we organize events like this. It means a lot to have time to talk calmly," said Sandra.
