When the Musikhjälpen week was over, we could see how many of Skebo's tenants wanted to contribute and pass on their thoughts.
Between December 1-7, good deeds were shared between neighbors, friends, and complete strangers.
A kind word here, a helping hand there, a message to someone in need, and a lot of care that never made it to a picture but made a difference nonetheless. For every deed that was submitted, Skebo donated 10 SEK to Musikhjälpen - and together we raised 3765 SEK for this year's theme "All children have the right to go to school."
- It has been fantastic to see how engaged our tenants have been. Many have spent time and care spreading joy, and it became clear how small actions can really make a big difference, says Sara Lundberg, customer service manager at Skebo.
- This was a nice way to end our 60th anniversary celebration - together.
Many tenants reached out and shared their good deeds during the week - small efforts in everyday life that together made a big difference. In addition to the deeds, Skebo's Musikhjälpen walk was also held on December 4, where staff, tenants, and partners walked together from the office on Skeppargatan. The walk cost 60 SEK per participant - and all proceeds went directly to the fundraising.
- We have received so much positive feedback. Many appreciated that we recognized everyday acts, not just the big efforts. It feels like the tenants really embraced the idea of Musikhjälpen, says Sara.
