Are you starting high school in Skellefteå but live far away? Then a high school apartment may be a good option. At Skebo, we are testing a concept where we reserve certain apartments for high school students. The purpose is to make it easier to get accommodation near the school and thus facilitate everyday life.

Who can apply?

You can apply for a high school apartment if you:

• have been admitted to a high school education in Skellefteå municipality
• are registered in our housing queue

How it works

• Apply for the apartment via our website under the category Accommodation for high school students.
• You apply for the apartment yourself with your own queue points.
• The apartments are allocated based on queue points, in the same way as for other apartments.
• Upload your admission letter along with your application.

Since individuals under 18 years old cannot sign rental agreements themselves, the guardian is the one who signs the rental agreement and has overall responsibility for the accommodation.

When the resident turns 18 and completes their high school studies, there is an opportunity for the guardian to transfer the apartment according to Skebo's rules for transfer, so that the resident can take over the rental agreement and continue living in the apartment.
