In times of crisis and serious events, it is especially important to be critical of your sources. Seek information from different sources to get a good understanding of the situation and do not spread unconfirmed rumors.
Tips for critical thinking online
- Be vigilant about "fake news"
- Think before sharing
- Check if the source is credible
- Investigate images, their users, and content
- Consider if the information is relevant
- Think about who benefits from the information being spread
- Don't let emotions take over
- Search for information outside of your own feed

The content addresses how we can better prepare for the consequences of extreme weather, cyber attacks, or military conflicts. There is also a checklist with tips for organizing food, water, heat, and communication if society does not function as usual.
Shelters
Due to the war in Ukraine, Sweden's crisis preparedness has come into focus, and questions about shelters have increased. There are shelters in some of Skebo's properties, and there is no specific shelter designated for anyone, so anyone can seek shelter in any shelter. Shelters can also be used differently today, such as bicycle storage. Skebo as a property owner has 48 hours to prepare shelters for their original purpose.
On MSB's website, the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, there is a shelter map where you can see where all the shelters are located. Shelter Map (msb.se)
