Friday, September 26th, free parking is offered at the Reindeer parking garage for all visitors attending Culture Night. Parking is free for hourly parkers all day between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

Skebo's board has decided to cancel the procurement of four planned construction projects: Volten, Astern, Nattkvarteret, and Väverskan. In total, this concerns about 350 apartments and 420 student housing units. The decision is based on the rapidly changing market conditions, and the current availability of sufficient housing stock allows for postponing new construction.

In the neighborhood of Frigg, one of Skebo's newer residential areas in the city center, a new artwork is currently taking shape. The artist behind the work is Pär Axelsson from Robertsfors. Skebo is participating in this summer's edition of the Wallstreet Art Festival, which will bring color to several locations in Skellefteå from June to August.
